When is Mazda going Hybrid ?
During the launch of Mazda 3, Executive Vice President Philip Spender mentioned that they will be venturing into Hybrid in the “20-teens”, which means in the next few years.
“And we are actually trying to pull that forward, if we can”
Mazda will be offering Hybrid technology a little bit different from other auto players, where they will be offering it as an option on top of existing models. This is unlike Toyota, where they have a specific Hybrid vehicle, namely the Prius or Honda’s Insight.
So i guess we could be seeing Mazda 3, 6 with Hybrid as an option.
