Toyota GT86 (FT-86) is finally out

After various changes and various concept car on the Toyota FT-86 or also called Scion FR-S, Toyota is finally going to name it Toyota GT86 and should be available to be public very soon. Unveiling the GT86 this week at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show. The car that is build around the concept of the previous legendary AE86, which is a rear wheel drive car that is design for driving pleasure. The new Toyota GT86 will be powered by a 2.0-liter 197 horsepower engine at 7000 rpm and a 151 lb-ft at 6,600 rpm. The engine will be mated with a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic with paddle shifters.

Here is the official photos and the video for this newly rename Toyota GT86. We must say that the front of the GT86 remains superbly looking while the rear taillight is not quite suitable, personally I would prefer the old thin strip of the lightning like taillight. Here is a picture from the previous Toyota FT-86 Concept II.

More information will be release when they are ready to be sold. So stay tuned for more information released.
