Proton Waja 1.6 – My Ride – Part 2 – First Impressions

After waiting for about a week, finally i get my car at the showroom. The first thing is of course, drive to Mobil Station to fill up the fuel tank as it was super-empty :p

After having full tank, i took the car for a spin around my housing area. Well, considered to have been driving a Volvo for the past 3 years, the sudden change was quite huge. I enjoy the feeling that the car accelerates fine with acceptable torque which comes in most @ 2700-2800 RPM, which is ideal for city drive.

Ride comfort was fine, with not too much bounce when going through potholes.

I had no problems with the indicators switch and wiper switch because its the same with Volvo, where the indicators are at the left and wipers at the right.

I loved the Dash as it lits up in bright red ! Reminds me of my dad’s car previously the Peugeot 406 which also had a red dash.

I revved below 3000 RPM until the first 1000KM Service. After that……. Part 3 – Real Impressions
