PERT Evolution 3

Like a baby is born, it’s a beginning of a fun journey in life. There are many stories to tell to others when you grow a little older and some maybe boring and some may be exciting. So let’s talk about the PERT Evolution 3. PERT basically stands for Petronas EON Rally Team, which EON created for the rally division. As for the cars that they use are not proton but a Mitsubishi Evolution 3-7 (you can get more info on my previous blog on Proton) meaning using the Mitsubishi and slap a proton sticker on it . Anyhow they are doing pretty well with the PERT Evolution as the driver(s) are doing great in the Malaysian rally scenes.

The experience driving this car is pretty fun as it has a close gear ratio when you go from first to second and third gear, although it’s a standard evo3, I feel it’s still fast. This is actually my second rally car that I have driven coz the first one was a Proton Satria 1.3 which feels fast due to the lightness of the car (just imagine without the access weight of the passenger seats, mats, air-con and etc.)

Now for more information and pictures of this car please visit http://rallypert.blogspot.com where you can basically read about the history of this car and current events.

About the Author

When I was a little younger, I never had the interest in cars at all. Somehow it picked it up when I was in high school and oh yeah did I mention my dad and brother loves cars as well? I am more of a Japanese Car lover then any other car but don’t get me wrong I like the rest as well. Let’s just say that Jap cars are the first on my list. Drifting, racing circuits and rallying, these are the thing that I love to do but I can’t! Well let’s just say I don’t have the skills for these kind of things. So the only thing I do is occasionally drive fast on the road when I am provoked by a much slower car or in par. "All you need to see is my tail light" turboturtle
