No more Tiered Fuel Subsidy Scheme on May 1 !

Previously the Malaysian government have proposed a two-tiered fuel subsidy scheme which uses the Mykad as verification. It was planned to be introduced on May 1 2010. Currently now this scheme is scrapped due to the negative response from the public.

They will be researching on alternative schemes later on. There is no plans for increase of fuel prices at the moment.
