Mitsubishi Lancer GT 2.0 a.k.a. The Dark Storm – Part 2 – The 4th Modification
This is the 4th modification i did until now, the 3M door seal. Notice in the above picture there is one more outer layer rubber that was added. After adding this layer, there is a “fridge” effect, where it is suppose to reduce noise from outside into the car cabin.
It is done on all four doors and the workmanship is just perfect 
This is the first Sound-proof initiative that i have taken onto Reiko. Next i will be doing a package on the wheel arches to further reduce road and tire noise. Then comes the door packages and finally, i hope, foaming :p
The result ? I notice that the outside noise is not so much coming from the sides anymore, rather it is coming from the front and back.
Additionally now i have to close my door even harder, because its like a fridge door now, but my door is not heavy enough like the real fridge :p
