Lotus Evora in Malaysia next Month

Lotus Evora will be launch in Malaysia next month. Evora is awarded the Britain’s Best Driver’s Car 2009 on August 12, 2009, then they later launch their Lotus Evora Type 124 for ADAC Nürburgring 24 Hours endurance race. Despite a lower spec compare to the Type 124, this is still a pretty fast street car powered by a 3.5-litre V6 VVT-i that goes from 0-60mph in 4.9 seconds and a top speed of 261 km/h. Not to forget the 6 speed gear box that will definitely make this a fun car to drive.

Evora is a 2+2-seater mid engine car but there is an option of “Plus Zero” that is a 2-seater configuration. Not sure if this option will be available for our market as it is allows taller person to fit into the Evora.

It is expected that Lotus Evora be higher than RM252,000 (£48,000) due to our higher tax in Malaysia. More information could be obtained from the Lotus Evora Official Website.

Cars, I have read so much about cars to keep me updated that I notice that there are so much more that I do not know about them. Keep update with the Automotive Industry as I learn more about it each day myself. I started this blog with 2 of my very good friends, and we all share a passion for cars and speed. Adi Wong

  1. Now thats what I am talking about a car that is already light being made even more so! Keep up the good work Lotus. I can’t wait to see exactly how much weight they managed to save. I am hoping eventually they offer a supercharged version aswell.
