Audi Unveil Crosslane Coupe Concept at Paris


Audi has unveiled their latest concept car at the Paris Motor Show, Audi Crosslane Coupe Concept. This is like a crossover coupe. And the concept comes with a removable roof. This will be available in two seater and 2+2. It is quite an unique idea of having a compact convertible crossover coupe by Audi.



It will be a plug-in hybrid with two electric motor and a 3 cylinder 1.5-liter TFSI engine. The engine is rated at 130 hp and 148 lb-ft of torque and the two electric motors produce 116 hp and 68 hp each individually. Combine it is said to achieve a top speed of about 182 km/h and takes you from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.6 seconds.

The Crosslane Coupe concept body features a light weight material include carbon-fiber infused chasis, aluminum, corbon-figer-reinforced polymer to create the concept’s space frame. Giving it a total weight of 1390 kg which is light in its category.

Although it might need some LED Daytime running light to stay inline with Audi current lineup.
