2012 Toyota RAV4 EV to launch in 2012

Toyota 2012 RAV4 EV will be sold to the general public next year. correcting previous record that the 2012 RAV4 will only be marketed to fleet car and car sharing program. It seems that this is most probably the first EV by Toyota for the mass market. This is a result of Toyota’s $50 million investment in Tesla, whereby the RAV4 will be suing Tesla-supplied battery pack. The prototype uses a 660 pound battery pack mounted under the floor that supplies 37 kwh usable energy that allows it to go 0-60mph in 9.0 seconds and a top speed of 100mph. Also allow it to go about 100-miles in range.

Wonder when will Malaysia have EV comming into our country and electric charging station to be build around Malaysia.
