2012 Honda Civic Si, HL, Coupe and Sedan


Presenting to you the ninth generation Honda Civic, similar to the Honda Civic Concept that was sketch on December, the new Civic does have a much sportier and aerodynamic look compare to the current version. It is expected that the new Civic will arrives this spring. It will come in two standard coupe and sedan (should be EX-L and LX) and also two sporty Si version, one hybrid, a natural-gas alternative-fuel variant and all new Civic HF. That is quite a lot of variant for Civic.

The Civic HF (High Fuel economy) will have a goal of high efficiency with gasoline-only power, with estimated fuel economy rating of 41 mpg on highway. The Civic HF is powered by a 1.8-liter i-VTEC engine. While Civic hybrid will also have a boost in its mpg of 45 mpg with the new lithium ion battery.

The standard sedan and coupe will be powered by a 1.8-liter i-VTEC producing 140 horsepower. It score an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 39 mpg on the highway.

Civic Si (the first picture)are not left out in the efficiency being enhanced while performance will be powered with the new 2.4-liter i-VTEC engine mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. Producing a whooping 200 horsepower and a torque of 170 lb-ft of torque.
