2012 Ford Taurus Interceptor Police Car

This is the new 2012 Taurus Interceptor Police car that will replace Crown-Victoria end of 2011. Even the new police car will be focussing on fuel efficiency and reducing the engine size to 3.5-litre V6 from 4.6-litre V6 on the Crown Victoria. Another option of this 2012 Taurus is the new all wheel-drive 3.5-litre EcoBoostTM V6 twin-turbocharged, direct injection engine that will deliver at least 365 hp and 350 ft-lb of torque.

The safety of this 2012 Ford Taurus includes a pass in 75-mph rear-end crash testing (that is fast!). Also a new side-curtain air bag rollover protection for side-impact crashes.

Take a look at the interior gadgets that is in a typical police car in United States, they are simply superb. Wonder if our Malaysia Lancer Evolution Police car will be able to match this?
