Fisker Karma is said to be the world first true electric luxury vehicle with extended range (EVer). Karma is a four seater and four door that focus on high performance, elegant and eco-friendly drive. Unveiled in 2008, the 2012 Fisker Karma is actually now in production with a price tag of $95,900 before the $7,500 federal EV tax credit.

The Karma actually is a plug-in hybrid, but the 22 kWh lithium ion battery alone will allow the driver to travel more than 80km. Pairing both the electric motor with the 250hp four-cylinder turbochaarger engine 2.0-liter would result in a total of 403hp and 901 ft-lb of torque. There is two mode of driving Stealth Mode and Sport Mode. Stealth Mode is to acheive the most efficient drive that is claim to provide a total range of up to 80km. Whereby the Sport Mode engage both engine to provide a exhilarating driving experience.

Charging time is between 6 hours and 14 hours depending on 110v, 220v or 240v current. It also uses Regenerative Braking like most other hybrid and also a solar glass roof that would provide an extend driving range of additional 322 km annually.

This is one of my dream car now and for your information, Leonardo DiCario has already bought this superb luxury plug-in 2012 Fisker Karma.
