2011 Hyundai Elantra / Avante M16

Hyundai has just release their 2011 Hyundai Elantra at Busan International Motor Show. It is named Hyundai Avante in Korea and also Malaysia, but worldwide it is known as Elantra. This compact car is just looking sportier with the curve and lines.

This 2011 Hyundai Elantra / Hyundai Avante will be powered by a new 1.6-litre Gamma Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) engine that develops 140ps and 17.0kh/m of torque with a 6-speed automatic transmission. This is said to save 10 percent more fuel than the setup in current 2010 model.

Setting the standard high, this compact will include HID headlamps, LED combinatino lamps in the rear, heated rear seat, puddle lamps and a color TFT LCD information displayed in the guage cluster. You will see this going on sale second half of this year.

  1. why is this car has the same look as the hyundai sonata, like father like son i suppose, hahaha

  2. it’s been too long to wait this car to come to malaysia… as an elantra owner for few years back,i realized that korean car is much better than what japanese can produce. if we compare the price, spec, tech, design etc..hyundai/kia move forward and they never let u down with the quality. resale value also is not a big issue anymore, same goes to spare part..

salute to korean and good bye mr h and mr t ( let the japanese in comfort zone, sleeping )

  3. Korean Cars are really moving fast ahead of Japanese. Looking at the todays design, spec and tech all Hyundai latest model, they may be on par with continental cars in near future.

  4. What about the safety feature? Have seen Forte and are very impressed with the safety feature.

  5. if you drive recklessly, no one can assure you are safe on the road!!
