Recently Ford has just release their 2011 Ford Mustang V6 that delivers an impressive power of 305hp eventhough the engine is slightly smaller at 3.7-litre. The option of six-speed manual and six-speed automatic transmission are both available. While the automatic will gives a slightly better fuel economy.

It is also expected to have 30 mpg highway with their six-speed automatic. The improved fuel economy includes:-

  • The new Electric Power Assist Steering (EPAS) system which eliminates the drag of an engine-operated hydraulic power steering pump
  • Six-speed transmissions that allow lower cruising revs without sacrificing off-the-line performance
  • Aerodynamic improvements such as a new front fascia, tire spats on the rear wheels, modified underbody shields, a taller air dam and an added rear decklid seal

The new 2011 V-6 will also include a performance package. But will only be available on August 2010. Package includes:-

  • A 3.31 rear axle ratio for quicker off-the-line acceleration
  • Firmer Mustang GT suspension
  • 19-inch wheels
  • Summer performance tires for improved grip
  • A strut tower brace for increased chassis rigidity
  • Unique electronic stability control calibration with sport mode for performance driving

As for the 2011 Ford Mustang GT, they are information leaked. So may not be accurate, but here are the juice. The 2011 Ford Mustang GT will be equip with a 5.0-litre V8 that will produce a whooping 412 hp. Also focusing in fuel economy, this V8 will bring you to 25 mpg highway.
